Hi there,
i'm TRISHA

You may hope to hear that I've been carrying around a fancy camera since I was 2, and all of my childhood "When I Grow Up" drawings featured me photographing blushing brides — but really, it couldn’t be further from the truth. To start, my (keyword:Asian) parents would have likely disowned me if I told them that’s what I wanted to be. So like a good little girl, I went to UT Austin and studied Biochemistry. (What?)

You might be wondering who benefits from a photographer that knows how to complete a Cysteine Derivatization reaction in under 20 minutes. It was crucial that I learned to plan and execute with confidence, and showed me that I truly hate to be substandard. Photography really just fell into my lap, and it couldn’t have been a better fit than my overly-expensive pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans.

I have a quirky son, a fearless daughter, and a disgustingly perfect and supportive husband who inspire me to follow fate wherever it takes me. In January 2014, I “launched” my business. It was official. Facebook official. My business blossomed from a start up dream to the Premier Dallas Wedding Business it is today. From our launch, Trisha Kay Photography has hit the ground running. I have no shame in admitting that I eat, breath, and live photography. Research, shoot, edit, repeat. Always looking forward. Always chasing the light.
