Our Vision for Submissions

The featured session must exclusively unfold within the realms of New York or its neighboring areas. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate destination weddings, engagement shoots, proposals, wedding showers, or styled sessions that occurred beyond the scope of the New York region. Moreover, submissions for anniversary sessions, boudoir shoots, and bachelorette parties are not within our scope.

While Trisha Kay Photography encompasses an array of session styles (modern, whimsical, rustic, boho, elegant, etc.), we have a penchant for exceptionally creative, stylish, or wonderfully unconventional elements. Our desire is to resonate deeply with our audience through extraordinary narratives or remarkable details. We hold a special affinity for couples and vendors who seamlessly weave the essence of New York into their sessions, manifesting unique perspectives.

For wedding submissions, an abundance of captivating detail shots is key – from the outset to the grand finale: bouquets, ceremony programs, seating displays, table arrangements, cake presentations, centerpieces, and beyond. Styled shoot submissions should also center on evocative and motivational elements.

Given the constraints of space, only a limited number of engagement sessions, proposals, and wedding showers can be featured each season. This inspires our quest for the most exceptional locales, thematic uniqueness, and photographs that evoke genuine astonishment.

Submission Guidelines

Photographs and Videos

All submitted photographs must be professionally captured. To truly showcase the essence of your work, we request images in their highest resolution and JPG format. A width of at least 1600 pixels and a resolution of 72 dpi will allow your images to shine brilliantly.

Ensure your gallery is generously populated: a minimum of 150 images for weddings, 75 for styled shoots, and 50 for engagement sessions, proposals, and wedding showers.

Please refrain from submitting your session until you have received the complete image gallery from the photographer. Preview galleries or individual images cannot be considered for publication.

For wedding and styled shoot submissions, we encourage a strong emphasis on capturing intricate details.

Photographers, in the interest of optimal SEO impact, kindly avoid coding image names.

While not obligatory, the inclusion of captivating videos can certainly elevate your submission. Similar to photographs, these videos must be professionally recorded.

We kindly ask that you refrain from adding watermarks or creating photo collages. Your images deserve to shine on our website and social media platforms in their purest form.

Terms and Conditions

Upon acceptance, you will be requested to complete a questionnaire. Vendors, prior to submission, ensure you secure written permission from both the photographer and the couple featured in the session.

New York boasts an array of awe-inspiring weddings. Given the volume of submissions, we appreciate your patience as the Trisha Kay Photography team requires up to two weeks for review and response.

We have a strong affinity for exclusive and fresh content. Nevertheless, we will consider exceptional sessions that have been featured on other blogs. However, it is your responsibility to adhere to the exclusivity guidelines set by the other blog.

While content from non-advertising wedding vendors is welcome, priority consideration and scheduling are extended to members of the Trisha Kay Photography Vendor Guide.

Our publication frequency includes one wedding per week, along with one engagement session and one styled shoot per month. As such, our current publication timeline is at least ten months. Please note that we do not pre-announce publication dates.
